God of War II did challenge the early 360 games though.
Halo? Gears of War? Nah don't think so.
Sony can always upgrade it servers so technically can match MS on that one, however MS cant match Sony on console specs until at least XBOX Two arrives.
None of those games were playable and most of the games were shown on PC, I'm yet to be convinced.

By the time consoles can do 4k gaming they'll be releasing 8K or possibly 16k media then they'll be comparing them to P.C's that may be able to handle it (yawn).
As for now 1080p or even 720p at 60 FPS(unless you have a 50" screen or bigger)would be good enough, now we have in the immediate future consoles that can run games in that standard.
Can wait to get this game, Day 1 for me.

Despite Sony falling behind the competition at the beginning of this generation they've manage to turn things around and now they're out selling both Wii and 360.
@ Craig MS would have you believe in the tooth fairy if they told that they exist.
@ theWB27 the games would look ten times better when you put them on a PC with Windows 7 and the top of the range NVIDIA graphics card.
Even a friend of mine who hated Sony and was a staunch 360 person is getting a PS4 next time round, anther one absolutely slagged off M$ on face book, M$ won nothing as far as I'm concerned, not even showing your games PC using NVIDIA graphic card.
And another thing M$ used a PC with the top of the range NVIDIA graphics cards to show off their games, so so it was the idiot who wrote this article that was fooled, not us.
Well given the state XB1's in they may as well be.
Sony can learn not to block used games nor be always on line to play standard games.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry (with laughter), remember M$ said they were going to kill Sony at E3, well not only did they fail spectacularly, they managed to kill themselves instead.
